Learn the details of your digital SLR camera and how to use its various settings. Get inspired by bringing in your photographs to share, review and receive helpful critique. Have weekly assignments to practice skills and better understand camera settings and functions. Develop a refined eye for composition and lighting.
Required:
Digital SLR camera with instruction manual.

Enjoy exploring the fundamentals of the acrylic paint medium and its unique application methods. Give yourself this time to begin learning about acrylics, or develop your experienced painting skills. Learn about various utensils, color theory, painting surfaces, and techniques. We’ll try abstract, landscape, still life, portraiture genres and more. The instructor will contact students prior to the first class with a list of required materials.

Create art when you thought it was impossible. Learn the basics to advanced techniques of drawing. Create landscapes, portraits, still life, wildlife or any subject of your choice. Have fun, relax and get inspired! All levels are welcome. The instructor will contact students prior to the first class with a list of required materials.

Printmaking/Mixed Media Collage - NEW!

This class will introduce you to the basic techniques of printmaking. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore color mixing and you will also have the opportunity to create textures using various tools such as combs, sticks, found-objects from nature and so forth. Your images can be based on realistic images or on abstract elements (shapes and lines). We will explore the limitless ways in which you can combine materials to create beautiful and unique works of art. No experience is required! Material Fee: $15.00 due with registration.

  Would you like to learn how to quilt? This is the class for you. You will learn the basics of HAND piecing and HAND quilting and have finished a small quilt by the end of the class. Instructor will customize the class to fit your abilities. All materials needed will be discussed at the first class.
