The Bible as Instruction Manual - NEW! 9/25 Monday

Senior High - Room 150
7:00-9:00 PM

8 Weeks
Fee $50.00

Many religions use all or part of The Bible to answer two questions: “Who is God?” & “What does God want people to do?” This class uses an inductive approach that helps participants discover for themselves personal answers to these questions. There is no teaching - neither theological nor analytical - making this approach suitable for open-minded people of any [or no] religious background. Each class uses a piece of scripture from the Tanakh or Old Testament for this contemporary, very popular approach to spiritually experiencing The Bible.

Recently Buddhism has gained much visibility as an outstandingly peaceful and insightful faith, and its meditation practices are widely known. Similarities and contrasts with our country’s Judeo-Christian heritage will be noted. We’ll do a bit of Buddhist self-inquiry and meditation practice as well. www.davidlowmsphd.com
